Chiles and Smoke Seasonings, BBQ Sauce & Southwest Flavor
Chiles and Smoke brings Southwest-inspired chile, garlic, herb, and smoke flavors to grilling, smoking, and everyday cooking. DDR BBQ Supply’s current collection contains five products: three dry seasonings, one BBQ sauce, and Sedona Sand Beef Jerky.
The lineup is compact but covers several different jobs—from building bark on brisket and seasoning chicken or shrimp to finishing ribs with sauce or grabbing a savory jerky snack.
Choose the Right Chiles and Smoke Seasoning
The three current dry seasonings each have a different focus:
- Canyon Crust Beef Seasoning: A savory blend of salt, pepper, garlic, and chiles made primarily for brisket, steaks, burgers, tri-tip, beef ribs, chuck roast, and other beef cuts. It is sugar-free and made without fillers or added MSG.
- Sedona Sand Fiesta Seasoning: An all-purpose Southwest blend featuring garlic, herbs, and chiles. It works well with chicken, pork, shrimp, seafood, vegetables, tacos, and everyday meals. It is also sugar-free and made without fillers.
- Scorching Sun Sweet Heat Rub: The hotter option, built around Southwest chile peppers and savory spices. It works with chicken, pork, shrimp, beef, wings, vegetables, and smoked meats and contains no added sugar or MSG.

Canyon Crust for Brisket, Steak & Beef
Canyon Crust is the beef-focused seasoning in the lineup. Its salt, pepper, garlic, and chile foundation is designed to complement beef while helping build a deeply seasoned exterior during grilling or smoking.
Use it on:
- Brisket
- Steaks
- Beef ribs
- Burgers
- Tri-tip
- Chuck roast
- Prime rib and other beef roasts
Because Canyon Crust contains no added sugar, it works for both low-and-slow smoking and higher-temperature searing or reverse searing.
Sedona Sand for All-Purpose Southwest Seasoning
Sedona Sand Fiesta Seasoning is the most versatile dry seasoning in the collection. Garlic, herbs, and Southwest chiles give it savory flavor that works beyond traditional BBQ.
Try it on chicken, pork chops, pulled pork, shrimp, fish, grilled vegetables, roasted potatoes, tacos, fajitas, eggs, and other everyday meals. Its sugar-free formula also makes it useful when cooking over higher heat.
Scorching Sun for More Chile Heat
When you want a stronger pepper kick, Scorching Sun Sweet Heat Rub is the spicy choice.
Despite the “Sweet Heat” name, the current formula is sugar-free. Its flavor comes from layered Southwest chile peppers and savory spices rather than added sweetness. DDR BBQ Supply lists the heat level as hot, making it a better fit for cooks who actively enjoy spicy food.
Use it for spicy chicken thighs, wings, pork, shrimp, beef, tacos, grilled vegetables, and smoked meats.
Smoky Sonoran BBQ Sauce for Glazing & Finishing
Smoky Sonoran BBQ Sauce combines rich smoke with fruity dried-chile flavor and a warm finish. Its smooth consistency makes it useful for brushing, glazing, dipping, or serving alongside finished food.
It pairs well with:
- Ribs
- Chicken
- Pork
- Burgers
- Brisket sandwiches
- Smoked sausage
- Grilled vegetables
- Fries and appetizers
Brush it onto meats toward the end of cooking when using it as a glaze, or serve it on the side as a finishing sauce. Explore more options in DDR BBQ Supply’s BBQ Sauces.
Sedona Sand Beef Jerky for Southwest Snacking
The collection also includes Sedona Sand Beef Jerky, made in collaboration with Capital Farms Meats & Provisions and seasoned with the same Southwest-inspired Sedona Sand flavor.
The jerky combines garlic, herbs, and chiles with an approachable medium warmth. It is available in 3.25 oz and 10.5 oz sizes and works well for road trips, camping, hiking, tailgates, workday snacks, cheese boards, and BBQ-themed gifts.
Choose Canyon Crust when beef is the focus, Sedona Sand for all-purpose seasoning, Scorching Sun when you want more heat, Smoky Sonoran for a finishing sauce, or Sedona Sand Jerky when you want the same Southwest flavor in snack form.
