Do you offer stainless steel grates?
No. We fabricate our grates exclusively from A36 carbon steel because it provides outstanding strength, heat retention, and long-term value for grilling and smoking applications.

This grate measures exactly 27.25" L x 17.5" W. It can be used with many smokers, grills, and custom BBQ pits that accept these dimensions. Customers are responsible for verifying the measurements needed for their cooker before ordering.

Yes. We recommend seasoning the grate before its first cook by applying a thin layer of cooking oil and heating it to create a protective coating.
How do I prevent rust?
After each cook, clean the grate with a grill brush and apply a light coat of cooking oil before storage. Like all carbon steel cooking surfaces, proper seasoning and maintenance help minimize rust.
How long does fabrication take?
Please allow 1–2 weeks from the date your order is placed for fabrication before your grate ships.
How do I measure for the correct size?
Measure the exact dimensions of the grate you need using a tape measure before ordering. Customers must provide the required dimensions, and DDR BBQ Supply cannot determine which grate size your smoker or grill requires.
