Yoder Smokers YS480/640 Pull Bar Upgrade: Better Control When Moving Your Grill

The Yoder Smokers YS480/640 Pull Bar Upgrade adds a strong, ergonomic pull point to your pellet grill, making it easier to maneuver and reposition your cooker. Designed to fit both YS480 and YS640 models, this upgrade improves handling when moving the grill across patios, driveways, decks, or into transport position.

Built to match Yoder Smokers’ heavy-duty construction standards, the pull bar provides added leverage and control without compromising the rugged look or durability of your grill.

Why You’ll Love It
  • Improves control and leverage when moving the grill
  • Compatible with Yoder Smokers YS480 and YS640 pellet grills
  • Heavy-duty steel construction built for long-term use
  • Clean, integrated fit that matches Yoder design standards
  • Ideal for patios, driveways, and transport setups
Designed for Easier Mobility

YS480 and YS640 pellet grills are built from heavy-gauge steel, which means moving them requires solid leverage points. The pull bar upgrade gives you a dedicated handle location, making it easier to guide the grill without awkward lifting or pushing.

This is especially useful when repositioning the cooker for cleaning, storage, or event transport.

Built to Match Yoder Durability

Constructed from heavy-duty steel, the pull bar is designed to withstand repeated use and outdoor conditions. It integrates cleanly with the existing cart structure and maintains the professional, competition-ready look Yoder Smokers grills are known for.

Pro Tips
  • Use the pull bar in combination with oversized cart wheels for smoother movement.
  • Guide the grill slowly over uneven surfaces for better control.
  • Check mounting hardware periodically to keep everything tight and secure.
Who’s This For?
  • YS480 and YS640 owners who move their grills frequently
  • Competition cooks and event pitmasters
  • Backyard cooks looking for easier grill repositioning
  • Anyone upgrading mobility on a heavy pellet grill

Customer Stories

Rated 4.95 across 7,500+ verified reviews.

I'm a backyard smoker who is grateful for companies like DDR BBQ Supply who cares about the customer and goes out their way to make hard to find custom smoker parts and other grilling supplies, then follows up after the sale to make sure I'm satisfied. You can't ask for more than that.

Robert Henson

This is the best thing going. I have an offset smoker and it works amazingly well, saves on charcoal and wood, Keeps the smoker at a set temperature even overnight. Well worth the money I would recommend to anyone.

Richard Williams

It took some time to get the smoker, but DDR stayed in touch with me letting me know the status. Received last week, fired it up over the weekend smoked some pork butts and ribs. With the bbq guru this thing did not fluctuate at all held steady all day long. The outside of the smoker was cool to the touch except around the charcoal chamber, but that still would not hurt you if you touched it. Great if you are worried about kids being around it. Love it so far.

Johnny O’Brien

Jason Brown

Purchased this product for my husband to replace the original grill grate that had burned through. This grill grate from DDR BBQ Supply was a perfect fit (after speaking on the phone with their customer service to insure the exact measurements) and made from much thicker material than the original product. Would not hesitate to order from DDR BBQ Supply again.
