"Black porcelain enamel on a compact three-burner that fits my small city backyard perfectly. The matte black finish doesn't show smudges and has held up through a full summer without chipping or fading. Three burners are more than enough for my household - steaks, burgers, chicken, all done well. Cast iron WAVE grates develop a natural non-stick patina over time and the sear marks are consistently good. JETFIRE ignition lights on the first turn every time which sounds basic but my old igniter failed constantly. Assembly took about 90 minutes. It took some time to get the smoker, but DDR stayed in touch with me letting me know the status. Received last week, fired it up over the weekend smoked some pork butts and ribs. With the bbq guru this thing did not fluctuate at all held steady all day long. The outside of the smoker was cool to the touch except around the charcoal chamber, but that still would not hurt you if you touched it. Great if you are worried about kids being around it. Love it so far.
