For anyone who knows my father's went by Dr. Gleaton for much of his life. To honor him and to keep that name alive I named this sauce after him because I think he would have really REALLY liked this sauce if he was still around.
Fermented to perfection and aged for a minimum of 6 months on bourbon barrel oak, this Louisiana style fermented pepper sauce showcases the perfect blend of ripe red Jalapenos and spicy Caribbean Red Habanero peppers as well as some fresh garlic for good measure.
This 5 ingredient pepper sauce is the perfect addition to almost any dish. These are made in small batches and have sold out quickly in the past as the simply named "Fermented Pepper Sauce". This sauce literally pairs with anything. The flavor notes showcase the fruitiness of the habanero balanced by a touch of smokey bourbon oak and the body of the jalapeno to balance it all out. It has a light salinity and a fermented tang but no vinegar flavor at all.
Conceptually we take it back to the mid 1800's with this amazing elixir, cure-all, tonic, and overall food improver. Artwork was created by the amazingly talented character designer, comic book artist, animator, and illustrator James Cory Webster. With layout and design by the talented Haley Dolan. As always our sauces are 100% natural and contain no additives, colors, or preservatives. If the sauce settles a bit, just give it a shake and it's good to go.
