The Blue Coolers Padded Shoulder Strap Heavy Duty Cooler Carry removes the strain from hauling packed beverage boxes and food totes. You stop fighting narrow plastic handles that dig into your fingers. The broad cushion spreads heavy loads comfortably across your shoulder. You walk farther to beaches, campsites, and tailgates without hand cramps or upper back fatigue. Just clip it on and let the gear travel with you.
Why You'll Love It- Padded Comfort: Thick foam lining keeps the strap from chafing during long carries.
- Even Weight Spread: The wide profile balances heavy loads so your muscles relax.
- Heavy Duty Build: Rugged webbing and reinforced stitching survive repeated outdoor seasons.
- True Hands Free: Secure mounting leaves both arms free for phones, drinks, or kids.
- Quick Hardware: Standard buckles snap together fast for easy cooler swaps.
- Wide Compatibility: The mounting design fits most popular drink and storage coolers.
- Beach runs where sandy hands make traditional grips miserable
- Camping setups located far from designated parking zones
- Tailgate entry lines that require dragging gear past crowds
- Sports tournaments with multiple ice chest rotations daily
- Boat launches where lifting over low gunwales risks dropping content
Find the Balance Point: Slide the strap toward the cooler center for stable walking on uneven ground.
Check Mounting Clearance: Verify your lid latches clear the strap path before sealing the unit.
Rinse After Saltwater: Fresh water and air drying preserve the webbing strength faster than leaving residue.
Store Rolled Flat: Avoid sharp folds that permanently stiffen the padded section over time.
Match Load to Capacity: Reserve this carry method for fully loaded units you actually need to relocate manually.
Who's This For?- Family campers moving drink stations between cars and lakeside spots
- Sports coaches managing team hydration ice chests every practice day
- Tailgaters hauling heavy kegs and snack boxes across crowded lots
- Fishing anglers navigating rocky docks where lifting is unsafe
- Outdoor rental crews needing durable gear for constant rotation
Is this strap heavy duty enough for a full twelve quart cooler?
Yes. The reinforced webbing and thick padding handle fully loaded beverage and food boxes without sagging.
Which cooler brands does it work with?
The mount integrates with most standard coolers that feature top handle openings or reinforced side lug bars.
Can I change the strap length while walking?
The quick adjust hardware lets you loosen or tighten the fit mid stride without unclasping everything.
How should I maintain the padding?
Wipe mud and salt off with a damp cloth. Allow complete air dry before rolling it for storage.
Will the cushion flatten after months of use?
The core retains its shape through normal hauling. Rest it flat when idle to maximize lifespan.
Does the strap secure the cooler lid shut?
No. This carry accessory does not replace factory latches or tie downs. Always seal your unit properly before moving.

With over 35 years of smoking experience, we started DDR BBQ Supply with a simple goal: to help others cook better barbecue. We've spent decades learning what works and what doesn't, and we apply that knowledge to every product we carry. From high-performance grills and smokers to carefully selected rubs, sauces, and tools, everything we offer is something we believe in and use ourselves. We don’t believe in cutting corners or selling gear we wouldn’t rely on during our own backyard cooks and when we compete in BBQ competitions.
