How to Use:
Mix per package instructions and inject evenly into breast and thigh meat several hours before cooking. Allow meat to rest before smoking, roasting, or grilling for maximum flavor infusion.
Ingredients:
Hydrolyzed Soy and Corn Proteins, Salt with Partially Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (Cottonseed and Soybean added), Monosodium Glutamate, Dehydrated Garlic and Onion, Butter Buds (Maltodextrin, Butter, Salt, Natural Butter Flavor, Rice Starch, Soybean Lecithin, Annatto, Turmeric), Honey Powder (Refined Syrup and Honey), Chicken Flavor (Chicken Stock, Flavor Salt), Food Grade Sodium Phosphate, Xanthan Gum
How much injection mix should I use per bird?
We recommend using 1 ounce of mix per 5-6 pounds of chicken, adjusted to your flavor preference. Follow mixing directions on the bottle for best results.
Is this injection suitable for turkey as well?
Yes. While it's optimized for chicken, Cluckutta works great on turkey and Cornish hens for added moisture and flavor.
Can I combine this injection with a dry BBQ rub?
Absolutely. Inject first to lock in moisture, then season the skin with your favorite BBQ rub for a layered flavor approach.
Does this product contain MSG?
Yes, monosodium glutamate (MSG) is included as a flavor enhancer, common in many competition-style injections.
Do I need a special injector to use this?
Any standard meat injector will work. Be sure to inject evenly across the breast and thighs for consistent flavor.

With over 35 years of smoking experience, we started DDR BBQ Supply with a simple goal: to help others cook better barbecue. We've spent decades learning what works and what doesn't, and we apply that knowledge to every product we carry. From high-performance grills and smokers to carefully selected rubs, sauces, and tools, everything we offer is something we believe in and use ourselves. We don’t believe in cutting corners or selling gear we wouldn’t rely on during our own backyard cooks and when we compete in BBQ competitions.
